Why I do what I do
I'm fascinated by the moments when a successful identity, business or belief system stops fitting. The old rules and language no longer apply, but the new ones haven’t been written yet.
These are the moments I study obsessively through ancient and modern ways of seeing: futurism, mythology, archetypal astrology, psychology, and the secret teachings of the mystery schools.
These are the moments where true creation, freshness and coherence with the lifeforce are most possible.
Thus, these moments are sacred.
And it is the honour of my life to get to witness and steward others through them.

Through my writing, teaching and nearly a decade of coaching & advising founders, leaders and creatives, I explore the hidden patterns that shape how we change, what holds us back, and what asks to emerge next.

Helping people recognise when they're trying to solve the wrong problem, and instead illuminating the territory of beauty and possibility that’s just out of sight.
My operating philosophy, Joyful Discernment, is rooted in honouring the inherent wisdom of the human soul & body, and in a liberation model for leadership that elevates all beings.

Who I’ve been…
A go-getting, entrepreneurial spirit… I started my first business at age 17 promoting nightclubs on Facebook. By 34 I’d founded and run six companies, including the startup amigas.
The soulful brand steward… a decade of in-house marketing at major brands like Eurostar and KENZO, plus strategic and creative direction for Missoma Jewellery, Rough Guides, London Speech Workshop and others.
A curriculum creator… of The Unstoppable Method for divining your soul work, The Align + Flow burnout prevention process, Vision of Success, Unlocking Ultravitality and The Year of Magical Living podcast. You can find my vintage offerings under ‘Repetoire’.
Who I am…
A cultural chameleon…Scottish by blood, but marinated in Germany and matured in France. Now I live in Sao Paulo state, Brazil, with my wife. Yes, I speak four languages.
A newbie land steward… futzing about on 4 acres of my wife’s ancestral lands in Brazil’s interior, learning sintropic farming and regenerative agriculture one wonky sweet potato at a time.
An accomplice, advisor and business doula… to entrepreneurs, artists and leaders leading legendary lives, running life-first businesses and doing their Soul Work in the world. Some have been co-creating with me since 2019.

A Human Experience Designer… by developing curriculum for how to create, hold and facilitate transformational experiences that bring us into phenomenal presence with ourselves and each other. Watch this space.
A Writer-Philosopher…Currently parsing through 300,000+ words written during my 20-month ‘Grown-Up Gap Year’ into useful (hopefully!) articles, books and podcasts.
More surrendered… After 20 years of being excessively disciplined and goal-oriented, I’m letting life breathe me into the relationships and rooms where I can be of most service. If anything about my words or work ever touches you, please reach out. My intuitive energy works best when it’s invited.
